Vince Vaughn received one of Hollywood's highest accolades this morning (Wednesday, March 4, 2015), his handprints and footprints were frozen in cement in the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX®, as the 280th star to be so honored. And unlike any other award in Hollywood, be it an Oscar®, a Golden Globe or a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,  The TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX® handprints-footprints tribute is the most selective of all, since over the course of nine decades, only 280 such honors have been presented.

In his latest film, "Unfinished Business" (Opening March 6), Vaughn and his two associates (Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco) travel to Europe to close the most important deal of their lives. But to close this morning's big deal in Hollywood, he needed, and got, the support of long-time friend Jon Favreau, with whom Vaughn starred in "Swingers," and James Marsden, who appears in Vaughn's latest movie "Unfinished Business."

Favreau introduced Vaughn during the event and praised his friend's accomplishments. "A guy who's gone just from being an actor in smaller roles to a movie star in both dramas and comedies, and I was lucky enough to have a backstage seat for the whole journey," Favreau said.

Of Favreau, Vaughn said, "I'm incredibly proud of my friend, a brother, a coworker, somebody who never fails to make me laugh, both on screen and off camera."

Also, during the ceremony, Vaughn expressed gratitude to his fans, "I share this with all of you, all the fans, and the people that throughout the years have given me a chance to participate and make a living doing something that I love very much," Vaughn stated.

Other memorable roles for the 44-year-old Vaughn include "Starsky & Hutch," "Wedding Crashers," "Fred Claus," "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," "Couples Retreat" and "The Break-Up." He also made a memorable cameo appearance in "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" and its sequel.

His latest film, "Unfinished Business," opens in theaters on Friday March 6, 2015.

About the film:

Vaughn portrays a hard-working small business owner (Vince Vaughn) and his two associates (Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco) travel to Europe to close the most important deal of their lives. But what began as a routine business trip goes off the rails in every imaginable - and unimaginable - way, including unplanned stops at a massive sex fetish event and a global economic summit.
