Vin Diesel, the hard-as-nails action hero determined to be recognized for his work behind the camera as well, premiered his latest effort "Los Bandoleros" at the AMC Cinemas at Universal City Walk on Thursday July 16th 2009.“Los Bandoleros,” is an original short film written and directed by Vin Diesel showcased on the Blu-ray and DVD release of “Fast & Furious” available July 28, received its U.S. premiere in celebration of the Universal Studios Home Entertainment release. The film, shot entirely in Dominican Republic, tells the intriguing back story about the characters and events leading up to the explosive oil truck heist in “Fast & Furious.” Red Carpet attendees included John Ortiz, Sung Kang, and Mirtha Michelle among others.
