Emily Blunt, her fiance John Krasinski, Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del
Toro attended the red carpet world premiere for the new Universal
Pictures' remake of "The Wolfman" at the ArcLight Theater in Los
Angeles.Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Celebrity guests included
Common, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Derek Hough, Craig Robinson and as well as
many others. Emily, however, stole the show in a midnight-blue Grecian
style Kaufman Franco gown with gladiator sandals and feathers in her
hair.
When asked about working with with Benicio Del Toro,
Emily said “People are intimidated by by Benicio, but what they don’t realize is that he’s actually intimidated by most people. He’s so
impossibly shy!...Once I got to know him, we had such a laugh because
he’s really rude and bawdy. I was like his annoying sister by the
end.”... ”I can’t think of a better guy to play the Wolfman because he
has something exhilarating and disarming about him, and you need that
to believe in this character.”
About Anthony Hopkins, Blunt
said, "“He’s very, very cool. I was riveted by him. I would sit around
and talk to him between takes, and he’d tell us wonderful stories. He’s
a great mimic. He’s quite an economical actor. It’s masterful to watch
- and it’s distracting. I’d watch him in the scene and be like, ‘Oh,
s**t! I forgot my line.’”
A remake of the 1941 Universal
Pictures classic of the same name, "The Wolfman" is following Talbot
who is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. He
finds out that a nightmarish beast has been terrorizing the town but
while investigating, Talbot discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.
Benicio Del Toro plays Talbot with Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins
portraying his love interest and father respectively. "The Wolfman"
