Two days before it's official U.S. Release, the World Premiere of
Touchstone Pictures' "When in Rome" was held on Wednesday, January 27,
2010 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood CA.
The event
was attended by the stars of the film including Kristen Bell, Josh
Duhamel, Will Arnett, Keir O’Donnell, Dax Shepard, Kate Micucci, Luca
Calvani, Efren Ramirez, Jon Heder, Don Johnson. It also attracted some
well known celebrity guests including Stacy Ferguson "Fergie", Kristin
Cavallari, Lea Thompson, Bradley Cooper, Rose McGowan, Kristin
Chenoweth, Seth Green, Dave Annable, Odette Yustman, Kate Linder as
well as many others.
For Kristen Bell, shooting "When in Rome"
capped off a trio of movies in exotic locations. Bell also traveled to
Bora Bora for the ensemble comedy "Couples Retreat" and Hawaii for the
Judd Apatow produced "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
About all of
her recent traveling, Kristen tells ABC News, "I keep saying I've
fired my agent and just hired a travel agent. I have no idea why I've
had such dumb luck," said Bell. "I was not well-traveled before. I grew
up in Detroit where they don't teach you to dream of traveling the
world."
"When in Rome" centers its story on an ambitious young
New Yorker (KRISTEN BELL), disillusioned with romance, takes a
whirlwind trip to Rome where she defiantly plucks magic coins from a
fountain of love, inexplicably igniting the passion of those who threw
them in: a sausage magnate (DANNY DEVITO), a street magician (JON
HEDER), an adoring painter (WILL ARNETT) and a self-admiring model (DAX
SHEPARD). But when a charming reporter (JOSH DUHAMEL) pursues her with
