PictureLux on the red carpet report: "Edge of Darkness" premiere

"Edge of Darkness" made it's Los Angeles Premiere on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Mel Gibson showed up to showcase his new thriller, along with his girlfriend Oksana, who gave birth to their daughter, Lucia, October 30. Mel told ET "She looks like her mother, except she's got blue eyes."

Also in attendance were Mel's friend and co-star from 1994's 'Maverick, Jodie Foster, who directed him in the upcoming comedy "The Beaver". Various other guests included Joe Jonas, Lance Bass and fellow co-stars Bojana Novakovic, Ray Winstone, Danny Huston and Shawn Roberts.

In the "Edge of Darkness" Mel plays Thomas Craven, a homicide detective who investigates the death of his activist daughter. In the process he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.The film opens nationwide on January 29, 2010.
