No. Just log-in as a guest user and you can view and email lightboxes to any receipient providing that you abide by our terms.

You may share your lightbox with others via our "Email Lightbox" function.

To email a lightbox, please click on the "Lightbox" link on the top of the page. Click on "Email" link. A pop-up window will appear allowing you to type your name, email address, the email of the recipient and a short message. The recipient will receive your message along with a link to a view-only HTML version of that lightbox. You may email a lightbox to any recipient. They do not need a PictureLux user name or password in order to view it.

After logging into your account, make sure that you clear the lightbox before you begin. After that, simply start adding images by clicking on the symbol underneath each thumbnail or preview image. When finished adding images, click on the "Lightbox" button on the top. Then proceed to either "zip" the images for downloading or "send" to share/email the lightbox. Please note that lightboxes are automatically deleted by our server after 30 days.

A PictureLux Pro account is for Media Professionals and allows you to search all of our images, create lightboxes and download high resolution images for editorial use. You are then billed for the actual use of the images. Simply fill out our registration form located here.

In order to license PictureLux content, you must sign up for a PictureLux Pro account. You can use our registration form located here. We will provide you with a username and password within 24 hours of receipt and after we confirm your details including circulation, billing address, and the nature of your organization (magazine, book, newspaper, Website, or television outlet,etc.).This will allow us to assign pricing via our standard rate card. PictureLux logs each image download and records this information for billing purposes. Digital downloads adhere to PictureLux’s existing pricing structure. Only images actually used and/or published are subject to billing. It is the client’s responsibility to notify PictureLux of all usage.

Obtaining the rights to use Picturelux's images can be process. Once a user obtains permission from Picturelux, the user may need to obtain additional third party clearances for the intended use beyond strictly editorial use. This includes celebrity licensing and may also include permission from production studios as well.
